Factors Influencing Cybersecurity Practices, Awareness and Behaviours of Remote Employees
摘要
Cyberspace has become a crucial space, in which all business entities and corporations operate. As the operations in industries increased their dependence on information technology (IT), criminals exploit the opportunities afforded by the lack of knowledge regarding cybersecurity and unsafe practices of workers. Additionally, due to the rapid transition into remote working with limited knowledge regarding the proper practices to maintain cybersecurity, the threat to cybersecurity has increased manifold. Against this background, this study aimed to investigate the factors influencing cybersecurity, its awareness, practices and behaviours among employees working remotely. A systematic literature review has been conducted to achieve this aim. The results of the systematic review indicate that these factors include types of cyberattack, employee knowledge, behaviour, experience, perception, social factors, psychological and cultural programmes, and training programmes.
