Ιn recent years, the development of activities related to the exploration, exploitation, and use of outer space’s natural resources has been the subject of continuous and intense debate. While this constitutes a space activity oriented toward the future—requiring not only technological advancement but also the mobilization of substantial financial resources—these prerequisites alone are insufficient. A further indispensable condition is the establishment of a legal framework capable of effectively addressing and regulating the complex issues that inevitably arise.
