Postoperatively, AI supports real-time monitoring via wearable devices and predictive analytics for complications such as sepsis and ileus. Additionally, AI is advancing surgical education by providing automated skill assessments and real-time feedback in training simulations. The expanding role of AI in surgery presents significant opportunities for improving patient outcomes but also raises ethical concerns regarding bias, data security, and accountability.
