Central to this innovation is indocyanine green (ICG), a near-infrared fluorescent dye with exceptional safety and versatility. ICG enables real-time identification of critical structures, including bile ducts, hepatic segments, lymph nodes, and vascular supply, across various surgical domains. Applications span foregut, hepatobiliary, colorectal, and bariatric surgeries, improving outcomes through enhanced anatomical delineation, perfusion assessment, and oncological staging.
