Laparoscopy in Pediatric Surgery
摘要
Pediatric laparoscopy has revolutionized surgical care, offering minimally invasive solutions with significant benefits for young patients and their families. Despite initial challenges, such as technological limitations and skepticism about its advantages, advances in optics, miniaturized instruments, and reusable tools have made laparoscopy a standard approach in pediatric surgery. These innovations have reduced postoperative pain, shortened recovery times, and improved surgical precision and outcomes. This chapter provides an in-depth exploration of pediatric laparoscopy, including anatomical and physiological considerations, perioperative preparation, and procedural techniques for common and advanced surgeries. It highlights the role of emerging technologies like robotic surgery and fetoscopy and discusses strategies for optimizing postoperative recovery. By addressing the challenges and opportunities in minimally invasive surgery, this chapter equips practitioners with the knowledge and skills to improve outcomes for pediatric patients.
