We derive the radiation reaction force for an inspiralling nonspinning binary system of compact objects in massless scalar-tensor theories within the effective-one-body formalism. Here, we compute the radiation reaction force for eccentric orbits up to 1PN order. These results can then be implemented in the effective-one-body based waveform models to construct waveform templates for generic orbit binaries in scalar-tensor theories of gravity.
