Cuba is firmly committed to sustainable and inclusive development. Achieving this purpose requires a comprehensive approach to innovation from the national to the local level. In the country, various mechanisms are promoted that encourage the strengthening of connections between the academic sector, government leadership and the productive and service sector, which includes public administration. The objective of this research is to improve the performance of wind power generation (EP) facilities at Cuban Electric Corporation (UNE), by means of a strategy for its Technological Management. The historical-logical, induction-deduction, study case, statistical and analysis-synthesis methods will be used. It is demonstrated that the key process is the maintenance management and the key indicator is the capacity factor, the strategic plan with the innovations and projects that would have the greatest impact is exposed, using the Gibara Wind Farm as a study case to validate the results.
