Designing a Communication System Model Between Humans and Robotic Arms Using EMG Sensors

This study presents an analysis of EMG signals for controlling a robotic arm. The EMG signal are collected using surface EMG electrodes to read signals from the desired skin area. Control using EMG signals facilitates the improvement of quality of life and physical capabilities for individuals with disabilities. The objective of the study is to identify the appropriate signal conditions for controlling basic movements of the robotic arm with the assistance of the Arduino Uno R3 microcontroller board and Matlab software.
