Analysis of the Influence of Draw Beads on the Deep Drawing for Large Spherical Shape for Stainless Steel
摘要
This paper employs Autoform software to simulate and evaluate the influence of draw beads on the quality of large spherical shape for stainless steel. The case studies under comparison include without blank holder, flat blank holder, and two prevalent types of draw beads: round type and step type. The results indicate that the wrinkling phenomena persists consistently in all other scenarios, but in the case of the round type, wrinkling is absent even in the absence of any applied compressive force on the blank. The blank consistently exhibits a deformation state that falls within the safe zone and is below the forming limit curves. Stress–strain state, formability, and force further illustrate the advantages of employing simulations to study the deformation process.
