Physical Model for Measuring, Monitoring Vibration on Machinery and Mechanical Equipment
摘要
The article introduced a physical model (PM) for measuring, monitoring and diagnosing vibrations on machinery and mechanical equipment (MME). The PM could generate physical signals that were approximate the nature of mechanical vibrations, such as the torsional, axial, lateral vibrations appear on the MME. The authors designed and built the PM with the mechanical part that generated vibrations as the physical model of the MME, and the measurement system was a modern multi-channel measurement system with vibration measurement and monitoring functions on real MME. On PM, vibrations could be measured by different methods and sensors, such as angular displacement and angular velocity vibrations (measured by encoder or electro-magnetic sensor, EMS), torsional and axial vibrations the transmission shaft surface (measured by strain gauges), etc. The measuring system could be continuously powered for online measurement and monitoring. The authors had built software on the LabView platform with functions of measuring, monitoring and diagnosing oscillations in real-time and frequency domains.
