Influence of the Two-Dimensional Stratigraphic Environment on the Transmission of Vibrations Induced by Rail Traffic
摘要
This paper focuses on finite element numerical modelling of the propagation of vibrations induced by underground rail traffic in a homogeneous domain and a realistic horizontally layered soil. The analysis are considered in the time and the frequency domains in order to better understand the impact of the tunnel and the stratigraphy on the surface vibrations. The results obtained here show the intricate relation between the source, the tunnel and the soil stratification leading to a large spatial variability of the surface vibrations.
