With the advancement of digital technology, virtual reality, augmented reality, and mixed reality have introduced new experiences and efficient work methods in various fields, such as entertainment, education, medicine, and manufacturing. In addition, there is a high demand for systems that can share multimedia content without physical constraints because such systems enable real-time collaboration in remote locations. This study developed a multimedia content collaborative work support system for multiple users using mixed reality technology. We experimentally evaluated the system’s effectiveness with 30 participants. Good evaluation results were obtained for remote content sharing and gesture functions, as well as when assuming scenarios such as design fields, remote meetings, and remote collaborative learning.

摘要
