The primary objective of this chapter is to establish links between the legal concepts of identity and personality. In the literature, both concepts are usually treated collectively, separately, or indistinctly, given that the neurotechnological mechanisms of affectation are identical. Since we are guided by a regulatory purpose by using the theoretical components of our dogma of reconceptualization, we are not indifferent to their contents. Establishing these links will be the basis of a schematization where we will observe that personality in its semantic field has the aptitude to incorporate the notion of (personal) identity. In turn, this will allow us to classify and systematically place psychological continuity and its close relative, identity self-perception.
