Digital interventions have emerged as promising tools for improving accessibility and cost-effectiveness in mental health care, particularly for common disorders such as anxiety and depression. However, evidence of their effectiveness in preventing suicide and suicide-related behaviors (SRB) remains limited and inconclusive, especially in regions with restricted access to mental health services. This chapter maps existing research on universal, selective, and indicated online interventions for SRB prevention, evaluating their advantages and limitations across different populations, including adolescents, young adults, and clinical settings. It also examines key methodological, technical, and ethical challenges, such as acceptability, feasibility, reliability, security, and effectiveness. Finally, the chapter explores strategies for improving implementation and scalability, ensuring digital interventions can be effectively integrated into real-world suicide prevention efforts.

摘要
