The post-Cold War global governance machinery, once dominated by Western-centric institutions and unipolar dynamics, has gradually given way to a more multi-nodally fragmented, multipolar reality. This emerging order is characterized by the diffusion of power across diverse actors, regions, and institutions, challenging traditional calibrations of hegemony and reconfiguring global governance structures.
