Many general-purpose employee management systems are tailored for HR departments in today’s market. However, positions in IT tend to emphasize hard skills more than those in other business units. To address this, we propose an employee management system specifically designed for small and medium-sized IT enterprises and IT departments. Our solution focuses on skill management and facilitating performance appraisal meetings, catering to the unique needs of managing IT employees. We have opted for Microsoft’s .NET Core platform instead of Oracle’s Java, and we chose MSSQL for the database because it allows easy integration with a .NET application. For the front-end development, we selected React. Our system is built on a three-layer architecture, which ensures scalability and flexibility. This design allows us to update the technology stack of one layer without affecting the others, enhancing the overall performance and adaptability of the application.
