Operational Guidelines for Supervising Cement Bond Logging and Evaluation
摘要
Cement log acquisition is an important operation to guarantee representative cement bond logs (CBLs) across cement intervals; otherwise, there would be huge expenses wasted without useful results. Logging procedures must follow the objective of highest quality and reliability such that the readings would be representative of the actual cement sheath and not be adversely affected by unexpected influences. Therefore, it is important to send a shrewd witness to the well-site representing the operator or production company to carefully monitor the operations. To accomplish the task well, it is required that the witness or representative follows a standard procedure stepwise during the acquisition phase. Each operator company may have their own procedures which may differ from another.
