This chapter provides the summary of the migratory stories featured in this book. The chapters represent individuals from various cultures, genders, ethnic traditions, and personal trajectories. Despite these differences they all currently call the Upper Peninsula of Michigan home. The objective of this book was to spotlight people that are often overlooked in the broader discourse on migration and explore how they are an integral part of a vibrant rural community.
