This chapter describes the story of Yevheniia Bilan “Zhenia” who is a business manager at the Facilities Operations Department at Northern Michigan University. Zhenia’s story represents a very recent migration experience as a refugee from Ukraine to the Untied States. Zhenia’s interview is about healing and seeking shelter. It is also a story of community building and long-term uncertainty, the reality of so many immigrants and refugees.
