The Automation of Spare Parts Logistics at Railway Transport Infrastructure Facilities

The article is devoted to an automated system for storing and searching for spare parts at railway infrastructure facilities. The features and advantages of a decentralized scheme for completing racks with spare parts in operational conditions are highlighted. An example of the implementation of such a structure for the organization of spare parts logistics in the system of supply warehouse-racks at large stations is given. The components of an automated system for storing and searching for spare parts and their interaction with each other in a single information network are shown. The functional capabilities of the automated shelving system are considered. A comprehensive criterion has been developed that allows for an expert assessment of the proposed system of addressable storage and accounting of spare parts.
