Evaluating the Effectiveness of an Online Trainer: A Paired T-Test Analysis
摘要
E-learning has enriched the traditional pedagogy by introducing innovative tools and methods. E-learning platforms empower teachers to leverage information technologies enhancing students’ academic performance. The paper discusses the efficacy of an online trainer designed to reinforce the theoretical knowledge and develop practical skills. The evaluation of the impact of the online trainer on academic performance of students of the same group was performed using the paired Student’s t-test. The test requires the data to be normally distributed. The normality of the data distribution was verified using the chi-square goodness-of-fit test. The results demonstrate that the online trainer positively impacts students’ knowledge and skills, as reflected their improved test scores. Histograms and a boxplot demonstrate a consistent upward trend in performance. These findings support the effectiveness of incorporating online trainers in e-learning environments.
