The influence of the visualization of geometric objects on the solution of graphical problems has been analyzed. The impact of graphical perception on the development of spatial thinking has been noted. Attention has been drawn to the specific features of the formation of engineering competencies when working with design documentation. Emphasis has been placed on a comprehensive approach to the individualization of educational processes.
