One of the important tasks of the educational system is the development of innovative approaches aimed at improving educational results. Among these innovative methods, the integration of background music into various STEM subjects attracts the attention of many educators and researchers. According to the results of a survey conducted at the universities of Uzbekistan, students found Thermodynamics classes to be lifeless and boring. Because of this, it became clear from the lesson observations and analysis that students’ interest, attention, and learning rate are low. By applying background music to thermodynamics lessons (103 students), the mastery rate increased by 13%. The classes were organized in a high-quality and attractive manner. We recommend applying this method to STEM subjects that are difficult to master.
