Jarvis: A Customizable Voice Assistant Leveraging NLP for Enhanced Productivity and User Interaction
摘要
An advanced voice assistant, JARVIS, or Just A Rather Very Intelligent System, was developed to increase user productivity and facilitate interaction between different digital elements through the process of natural language processing. JARVIS is a very responsive and customizable tool that helps users manage day-to-day tasks in a highly intuitive and engaging manner. JARVIS also helps users by giving them real-time information like the date, the time, and updates concerning the weather. It launches applications, opens websites, and gives the directions with distances calculated as it keeps track of system performance metrics such as RAM usage, battery life, and CPU status in order to keep the device in the healthiest condition. These integrate Google Calendar for up-to-date information about events to which one is invited, Wikipedia summaries for greater and wider knowledge acquisition, and Google search capabilities for more advanced search options. It lets users ask for music from YouTube and provides them with the latest news headlines from various countries; this makes it a very versatile assistant. Another notable feature of JARVIS is performing complex math calculations and answering most of the general knowledge queries via Wolfram Alpha. Improved with a user-friendly graphical interface, JARVIS offers a variety of productivity features, from taking notes and telling jokes to managing file visibility and switching between windows. This paper discusses the design, functionality, and the NLP-driven capabilities of JARVIS, focusing on its role in the reliable digital assistant to help increase productivity and improve user experience at home and at work.
