This chapter presents a case study with a substance-dependent client in a mandatory counselling context. The experiences in the role of the client are described in detail, inner parts are identified. We reflect on the dialogue from a Gestalt methodological perspective and establish connections to theory in the process. Value squares are used to visualise potential development processes for the client. In addition, links to the specialist literature are established. The insights gained are finally illustrated in a summary graphic.

摘要

This chapter presents a case study with a substance-dependent client in a mandatory counselling context. The experiences in the role of the client are described in detail, inner parts are identified. We reflect on the dialogue from a Gestalt methodological perspective and establish connections to theory in the process. Value squares are used to visualise potential development processes for the client. In addition, links to the specialist literature are established. The insights gained are finally illustrated in a summary graphic.
