In this chapter we describe the quantization of the electromagnetic radiation field, that in quantum mechanics can no longer be described by a classical vector field \(\textbf{A}(\textbf{r};t)\) . Furthermore, we will calculate the interaction between matter and the quantized radiation field in leading order of the coupling.

摘要

In this chapter we describe the quantization of the electromagnetic radiation field, that in quantum mechanics can no longer be described by a classical vector field \(\textbf{A}(\textbf{r};t)\) .
