摘要

Euler’s theory of functions and the method of graphs plotting by special points and by the principle ‘simple formula — simple graph’ are demonstrated. The theory of logarithms and exponents are explained by the Weber-Fechner law. The notions of superpositions of a pair of functions as well as of the inverse functions are discussed. Trigonometric and inverse trigonometric functions are introduced.
