Leveraging Digital Nudging to Enhance Public Decision-Making: A Literature Review
摘要
The findings of a thorough literature review on digital nudging in the public sphere are presented in this article. What is the total knowledge gathered from ten years of scientific research into the use of digital nudging as a tool to enhance public decision-making is our main goal, whether to persuade users to embrace digital public services or to direct public decision-makers toward better informed choices. Using an accurate bibliometric method, we took advantage of two scientific databases: Web of Science and Scopus. A total of 941 pertinent articles were found using this methodology. Remarkably, only 75 publications were carefully chosen for in-depth review out of 941 that were found to span the years 2013–2023. This synopsis highlights the key findings and breadth of our study, emphasizing how digital nudging is developing in relation to public decision-making.
