The aim of this paper was to discuss the concept of sustainable development and to define the various dimensions of it in terms of economic, social, and environmental factors. Also, it looks at the relationships between these factors that would help provide a proper and fair type of development. That means understanding sustainable management for natural resources and human resources, taking into account how to strike a balance between the needs of current and future generations. It is stressed that pollution should be decreased, renewable energy sources should be employed, and equity in resource distribution between developed and developing countries should be encouraged. It also indicates that technology is vital in achieving sustainability as it increases productivity in different sectors. In general terms, it is described how the merger of economic, social, and environmental aspects constitutes sustainable development with an outlook on the rights of future generations and takes into resource protection.
