The research, entitled “The Role of Technology in Enforcing Judicial Rulings and Ensuring Compliance with Legal Obligations,” investigates the influence of technological progress within the judicial system, specifically regarding how such advancements can affect the enforcement of judicial rulings as a source of obligation. This study delves into the innovative notion of judicial rulings functioning not merely as statements of rights but as significant sources of legal obligations. Traditionally, the legal field has acknowledged five established sources of obligation, and the emergence of judicial rulings as an additional source incites considerable discussion. The research confronts the perspective that judicial rulings are intended primarily to uncover pre-existing rights instead of generating new obligations, a stance that aligns with the theory of legislative supremacy, which critiques judicial activism and emphasizes the importance of separation of powers. Nevertheless, the study posits that advancements in technology equip courts with enhanced tools to tackle legislative ambiguities, unclear statutes, and the changing demands of society. Technology facilitates the prompt and efficient implementation of judicial rulings, thereby ensuring that obligations are fulfilled more effectively and promptly, which in turn strengthens the influence of judicial decisions in the formation of legal obligations. Utilizing a descriptive and analytical methodology, the study underscores the role of technology in aiding the judiciary to enforce rulings that establish obligations, especially in instances where the current legal framework is lacking or unclear. It culminates with suggestions for harnessing technology to improve the judicial system’s capacity to administer justice and uphold legal obligations, highlighting the significant transformative potential of technological resources in the enforcement of judicial determinations.
