This research investigates the influence of contemporary technologies and artificial intelligence (AI) on electronic commercial arbitration, while also considering the future prospects within this domain. Given the ongoing advancements in technology, electronic commercial arbitration is experiencing notable changes through the integration of modern tools, such as AI, which serve to expedite and improve arbitration processes. The findings indicate that electronic commercial arbitration proves to be an effective mechanism for hastening the resolution of commercial disputes, thereby enhancing parties’ trust in the judicial system and increasing the overall efficiency of legal proceedings. Additionally, the study identifies several challenges confronting this form of arbitration, including the vagueness of certain laws pertaining to electronic arbitration and the complexities involved in applying modern technologies in specific scenarios. Nevertheless, it is clear that the incorporation of information technology, including AI and digital platforms, significantly enhances processes and streamlines electronic commercial arbitration by facilitating quicker analysis, decision-making, and minimizing human errors. The research concludes that the awareness of the benefits associated with electronic commercial arbitration is still limited among various commercial institutions, which impedes its broader acceptance. Ultimately, the study seeks to offer clear insights into how legal and commercial entities can utilize these technologies to improve the efficacy and efficiency of commercial arbitration, while also examining prospective opportunities that may emerge in this field amidst rapid digital advancements.
