The use of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies in the same field of public administration is transforming the decision-making process at a rapid pace and bringing great benefits concerning efficiency, transparency, and accountability. But this change comes with its own set of challenges, especially those related to fairness, predictability, and conformity with ethical standards and legal frameworks. The present paper attempts to highlight the legal aspects of AI regulation on administrative decision-making within the context of Jordan, noting that a strong regulatory framework balancing innovation with ethical responsibility is imperative. It adopts a mixed-methods approach that integrates qualitative thematic exploration of literature and legal frameworks, in addition to quantitative data from surveys and interviews conducted with 43 employees of the public sector, legal experts, and technology professionals. Findings indicate that AI regulations in Jordan are currently fragmented and inadequate; hence adaptive, collaborative, and human-centric governance models are called for. It proposes developments such as Explainable AI and blockchain auditing which can help in risk mitigation and trust building on AI-driven systems. The study asserts that continuous reforms in law and multi-sector collaboration are key to making sure AI technologies retain their focus on the public interest, protecting individual rights, and upholding societal values.

摘要
