This paper presents a case study of a food delivery startup, and uses Operations Research (OR) techniques to address the complex logistics challenges faced by the company. The objective is to develop an automated and optimal solution for a startup located in Montpellier, France that faces many problems with delivery operations, taking into account factors such as resource allocation and environmental impact. The study focuses on the vehicle routing problem (VRP) with Multiple Trips and Time Window (MTVRPTW), and employs a heuristic algorithm to generate a complete delivery plan based on customer orders and the company’s existing infrastructure. The goal is to provide the startup with a sustainable and efficient logistics solution that can help them to reduce costs and improve their overall operations.
