Descriptive Analysis Social Well-Being of Asnaf Students in Higher Education Institution
摘要
Asnaf students at Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) become a central focus in this study on their social well-being. Some indications of their social well-being are financial burden, insufficient study facilities, increased cost of living and the dynamics of social interaction. Therefore, this study attempts to explore their social well-being problems and to identify the recommendations to overcome it. Quantitative studies was conducted involving a total of 120 students. Some aspects like the issue of isolation from family and friends, unmet living needs, and the problem of unstable sibling relationships (between family members and parents) at home can be attributed to the improvement of social well-being. Findings and discussions of social well-being were discussed.
