This paper reports on a study on the current extent of works for supporting learning experience among children with ASD in learning using mobile applications. Supporting the needs of children with ASD is necessary because they are resources for the nation. Their population is huge among the varying types of disabilities. While understanding the factors promoting learning experience for them is very potential in uplifting their learning experience, this study analyses works in previous researches reported in journals and proceedings. Also, visit to a few schools for special education has been carried out. It was found out that the models of user experience (UX) for the children with ASD evolve from the classic usability to one with a blend of emotional factors. The paper also expresses its future works, in its way to supporting learning experience among children with ASD in learning about painting using mobile application.
