Training acquisition stands out as a crucial aspect of Human Resource (HR) Management, significantly impacting the optimal utilization of human resources. That’s why IT companies have been also investing in it. However, despite significant investments in training programs aimed at enhancing employee skills and engagement, many development projects fail to meet their intended objectives. This study explores the effectiveness of continuous improvement training and the utilization of improvement methods in enhancing employee engagement and collaboration. Drawing upon a sample of 15,000 participants from IT backgrounds, the research reveals both positive and negative impacts associated with training and work methods. Results indicate that continuous improvement training and the adoption of improvement methods positively influence employee performance. Additionally, the research points out that how much employees get involved can change the effects of continuous improvement training. When employees are more engaged, it may offset some of the negative impacts of training. These findings predict training hours for training programs that cover all parts of continuous improvement, not just skill-building. By understanding how employee involvement and improvement methods interact, organizations can create better plans for encouraging ongoing learning and growth.
