Ph.d. Pathways to Sustainable Development: Integrating Income Satisfaction, Well-Being, Job Satisfaction and Decent Labour in Kerala
摘要
In a time when sustainable development is a top priority for the entire world, it is essential to comprehend the elements that lead to high-achieving professionals feeling satisfied in their jobs. This study explores the intricate relationships among Ph.D. holders between job satisfaction, work-life balance, respectable working circumstances, and financial satisfaction. We identify the mechanisms by which these variables interact and ultimately affect total job satisfaction by using structural equation modeling. Our results show that good working circumstances have a major positive impact on work-life balance and income satisfaction. These in turn are important factors that determine how satisfied Ph.D. holders are with their jobs. Notably, a crucial mediator that amplifies the favorable impacts of decent labor and financial satisfaction on job satisfaction is work-life balance. This emphasizes how crucial it is to take a comprehensive approach that incorporates fair labor standards and a sufficient salary in order to promote a balanced and fulfilling career. Policymakers and organizational leaders who want to establish supportive settings that enhance the well-being and job satisfaction of Ph.D. holders should take note of the findings from this study. Focusing on sustainable development strategies, such as offering fair wages and respectable working conditions, will help to keep the highly skilled labor force engaged and motivated, which will advance both individual development and society as a whole.
