Examining Different Preferences and Strategic Actionable Recommendations for the Sports Academies Market in the Sports Industry: A Case Study of Bahrain, 2024
摘要
This study investigates the transformative potential of digital management solutions in Bahraini sports academies. Traditional management methods result in operational inefficiencies, poor communication, and administrative burdens. We examine the integration of technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), the Internet of Things (IoT), and Augmented Reality (AR) to enhance operational efficiency and user experiences. The platform Academity is highlighted as a key solution addressing these challenges. Data from surveys, interviews, and focus groups with over 35 sports academies reveal a strong preference for centralized management systems that streamline scheduling, communication, and payment processes. Stakeholders emphasize the need for secure, integrated communication tools to replace fragmented methods like WhatsApp. Additionally, community engagement and cost-effective solutions are vital for improving accessibility. Strategic recommendations are proposed to leverage digital advancements effectively, enhancing the overall experience for athletes, coaches, and administrators. This study aims to set a precedent for digital transformation in sports management within Bahrain, contributing to the industry’s competitive growth. Future research should explore the long-term impacts of digital solutions, user adoption factors, and cost-benefit analyses to further optimize sports academy management.
