This research aims to examine the origins, political implications, and historical dimensions of the Durand Line agreement from the Afghan perspective. Traditionally, international debates on the subject have lacked sufficient Afghan viewpoints, often reflecting predominantly British and Pakistani positions. By incorporating Afghan views, this study presents a new interpretation and emphasises an under-analysed chronological angle.
