摘要

The construction sector, which already represents 13% of the world's GDP and is predicted to rise by 85% by 2030 to reach $15.5 billion worldwide. This demand is mostly propelled by India, the US, and China. The management of enormous volumes of data among customers, designers, contractors, and subcontractors is still quite difficult, though. In order to integrate and streamline data across intricate and scattered building projects, information technology (IT) adoption has become essential. The digital revolution of the sector is causing investments in artificial intelligence (AI) to accelerate at a never-before-seen rate. By 2035, AI might boost worker efficiency by 40% and quadruple annual growth in economy rates. Examining techniques and developments that promote productivity, automation, and decision-making in the construction industry, this paper investigates AI applications in construction project management. It also emphasises how AI can optimise resource management, risk assessment, and project planning, ultimately transforming the building value chain.
