I was fascinated by the 3D surface graphs I saw in “CMOS Digital Integrated Circuits, Analysis and Design (Kang and Leblebici, CMOS Digital Integrated Circuits : Analysis and Design, 3rd edn. (McGraw-Hill, Boston, 2003)).” They showed the MOS and CMOS operation to the reader from another perspective. The computer program that generated the surfaces was not included in the book. I appreciated the pedagogical value of the graphs; therefore, I decided to implement them in MATLAB so that the students could run the code, see the surfaces from different angles, and rotate them with a computer mouse.

摘要
