SMART Technologies for Greenhouse Climate Control
摘要
In the context of sustainable agriculture, smart greenhouses have become an important solution that increases crop productivity and at the same time contributes to resource conservation. This study examines the prospects for the application of Internet of Things technologies in greenhouses as a strategy for the modern agricultural sector, which will increase the accuracy of smart control systems, bring economic and environmental benefits. The aim of the work is to develop a prototype of a microclimate monitoring system for smart greenhouses based on Internet of Things technology, which provides the necessary conditions for growing plants while simultaneously reducing energy consumption and minimizing environmental impact. A solution based on long-range wireless communication LoRa with the LoRaWAN protocol for managing smart greenhouses is proposed. It allows the farmer to monitor and manage the required number of greenhouses without physical participation to perform such regular actions as irrigation or temperature regulation according to external conditions and plant needs. A 3D model was created, and a sensor board was manufactured to measure temperature or temperature and humidity at three points using sensors based on the 1-Wire protocol. Information panels in Things Board were used to visualize data and create a user interface. The proposed prototype of the monitoring system allows you to explore the features of various elements and wireless networks, taking into account energy efficiency and environmental friendliness. This approach will have prospects in the educational process of the university by creating conditions for updating the training of students specializing in automation of control systems and computer-integrated technologies.
