In the wake of September 11, 2001, the world witnessed an unprecedented intertwining of religion and diplomacy. The United States, under a leadership influenced by evangelical Christian thought, embarked on a foreign policy journey that framed its struggle in near‐moralistic terms. This concluding chapter has the dual task of synthesizing the book’s key findings and providing a forward-looking analysis of the geopolitical and religious currents that define, and will continue to define, Pakistan–United States relations.
