I’ve reached the age (That’s a great way to end a book, right?) where it can be overwhelming when I think about how rapidly things change. Not just technology, but all the letters in STEEPLE. Or how much has changed in my short life. But it has also taught me that today’s truths might not hold up tomorrow. That’s how our reality works—adapting and evolving. Repeat. It’s important to stay open-minded and flexible, ready to embrace new ideas and perspectives as they come along. The future will take on new forms, challenge our beliefs, and hopefully lead us to a point in the not-so-distant horizon, not filled with unimagined threats but anticipated challenges. And in the process, we learn to let go of what no longer serves us.
