Video-Based Reflection Journal
摘要
This assignment is given in lieu of written reflections, and both students and instructors communicate via video technology. The use of video as a reflection tool provides students with an opportunity to reflect on their learning verbally, which can increase expression and authenticity. For some students, such as those from diverse cultural backgrounds and learning styles, they may find this modality more accessible for reflection. This tool can increase the quality of student–instructor communication and provide a holistic approach to learning and engagement. Originally intended for practicum experiences, this activity may be applied to any course where student reflections are required.
