Ultrasound-Assisted Liposuction with VASER (Vibration Amplification of Sound Energy at Resonance)
摘要
Ultrasound-Assisted Liposuction (UAL) has significantly evolved with the introduction of VASER technology, representing the third generation of UAL devices. This innovative approach employs ultrasonic energy and allows for selective fat emulsification, promoting optimal skin retraction during the healing phase. The chapter further illustrates the wide range of VAL applications through multiple clinical cases, including treatment of upper arm lipodystrophy, gynecomastia, facial and neck contouring, female abdomen reshaping, buttocks and thigh sculpting and high-definition body contouring. Of significant importance is also the application of VASER for performing autologous fat transfer, as many studies have shown the superiority of VASER technology in obtaining viable fat. In conclusion, VASER-assisted liposuction emerges as a safe, effective, and versatile tool for advanced body contouring, offering both aesthetic and regenerative advantages that position it at the forefront of modern plastic surgery.
