Introduction
摘要
Management is a concept that is broadly used but generally not sufficiently specified. It is the most important part of business administration, however it is rarely conceptualized in a precise and coherent way that reflects its importance. Despite the vast amount of management literature, many scholars and practitioners still struggle to properly understand the concept of management. This chapter explains why it is an overly generalized concept in need for its specification. It also puts management into the theoretic context of business administration and describes the structure and methodology of the book.
