The Factors Influencing Gamer’s Loyalty: The Case Study of League of Legends in Vietnam
摘要
This study examines the factors that influence player loyalty in the video game community in Vietnam. Based on a survey of 200 League of Legends players, the study uses quantitative methods to evaluate the impact factors, including Aesthetic Quality, Recognition, Social Influence, Service Quality, and Player Satisfaction. The results show that Aesthetic Quality, Recognition, Service Quality, and Satisfaction help retain players. Meanwhile, Social Influence does not have a clear impact on loyalty. These findings help game developers and publishers have a more specific direction in retaining players. To build long-term loyalty, they must invest in attractive visual design, create opportunities for players to be recognized, improve service quality, and provide a more enjoyable experience. In addition, the study also opens up new directions, suggesting further research on how players spend in games or the influence of culture on game attachment. This is important research for a better understanding of player behaviour and supporting sustainable development orientation for the gaming industry.
