Several previous studies which deal with the effect of racial differences on age estimation, and which deal with the effect of wearing or not wearing a mask on age estimation, have been reported, respectively. However, no previous study which deals with the simultaneous effects of these two factors on age estimation is found. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to report the simultaneous effect of these two factors on results in an age and gender estimation model for face images, in which the image classification model Xception is used as the feature extraction function.

摘要

Several previous studies which deal with the effect of racial differences on age estimation, and which deal with the effect of wearing or not wearing a mask on age estimation, have been reported, respectively. However, no previous study which deals with the simultaneous effects of these two factors on age estimation is found. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to report the simultaneous effect of these two factors on results in an age and gender estimation model for face images, in which the image classification model Xception is used as the feature extraction function.
