We propose a method to guide a CanSat to a goal at a distance of 0 m by utilizing a ToF camera and SSD MobileNet V2 for object detection. The pylon placed at the goal is accurately recognized using the ToF camera images, and the ToF distance data enables precise measurement of the distance to the goal. By applying this method, we successfully guided the CanSat to the goal at a distance of 0 m. In this paper, we discuss the CanSat, the background and necessity that led to the development of the proposed method, the details of the method itself, and its evaluation.

摘要

We propose a method to guide a CanSat to a goal at a distance of 0 m by utilizing a ToF camera and SSD MobileNet V2 for object detection. The pylon placed at the goal is accurately recognized using the ToF camera images, and the ToF distance data enables precise measurement of the distance to the goal. By applying this method, we successfully guided the CanSat to the goal at a distance of 0 m. In this paper, we discuss the CanSat, the background and necessity that led to the development of the proposed method, the details of the method itself, and its evaluation.
